Find out more about the remarkable individuals who truly make Roboyo, Roboyo.

In this instalment, we turn our attention to Ady Manjarrez. Ady’s journey with Roboyo began nearly three years ago when she stepped in as an Assistant to the COO. Over time, her role evolved into that of Academy Operations Coordinator & Talent Acquisition Specialist, where she oversaw our internship program and internal training initiatives. Notably, she has recently taken on the pivotal position of People Business Partner for Mexico.

Join us as we delve into Ady’s insights and discover what she cherishes most about the Roboyo culture, along with her personal highlights in her current role.

What is your favorite part of working at Roboyo?

I think that my favorite part of working at Roboyo is having the opportunity to collaborate with such an amazing group of people all over the world, having different backgrounds only makes it better. Even when we work remotely and in different time zones, we have built such a companionship, a sense of belonging and an entire support network.

How would you describe Roboyo’s company culture?

It is unique!! Roboyo fosters a collaborative environment where teamwork is highly valued, so, we always look for team players!! At Roboyo we encourage creativity, innovation, and we embrace a mindset of continuous learning…that’s why we stay ahead in the industry – 😉. And I think it is important to mention that for Roboyo, communication is key. We prioritize open and transparent communication at all levels. Our leadership team always encourages our team to voice our opinions, share constant feedback and, this openness only creates a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

What do you like most about the work we do here?

That not only do I get the chance to talk to future Roboyans, but I have the chance to work virtually side-by-side with incredible people from all over the world. The multiculturality and diversity of our team is the core of Roboyo, we are all very passionate about what we do, how we do it and the team is always willing to teach you new things and share the knowledge across all regions. One day you might be working with the Mexican team, and your next project can be with the Spanish team, the Australian team… and you always get a new perspective on things.

What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?

That even when we get to talk to a lot of candidates, we do get very involved in their process, and we genuinely care for them. We do get emotionally invested in their recruiting process and we want them to succeed in the process!! It is very sad for us as well whenever we have to reject them and provide feedback, but when we have the chance to extend an offer… it’s as exciting for us as it is for them.

What are you most proud of?

The Internship Program for Mexico. I had the chance to coordinate and lead this initiative in Mexico, worked with some of our amazing Automation Engineers, Automation Managers, and our Automation Enablers to design our training program. It was not only to help University students to complete their requirements, but we mentored them, taught them and we had the chance to hire some of them, that to this day are still part of our incredible team. To those we weren’t able to hire, I believe that we gave them a solid base knowledge on automation so they can launch their careers in this new hyperautomation world.

How has your role evolved over the time since you’ve been here?

My role today is completely different from when I started almost 3 years ago. I joined the company as Assistant to our then COO and, I was doing a bit of everything, staffing, supporting where we needed support… and then, I was given the opportunity to drive the internship program and internal training for our team as Academy Operations Coordinator & Talent Acquisition Specialist. Today, I’m a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I still get to do some of the things I did -and that I enjoy doing, which is supporting the team and helping others to upskill- but now, I have the chance to spread the word about Roboyo and bring in new “Roboyans”, which I think is awesome!

What’s the last song you listened to or your favorite song?

Today I was listening to my favorites and the last one was I belong to you by Mr. Lenny Kravitz. If you ever go through my favorites, you’ll find it very random haha. You’ll find anything from Frank Sinatra to the Backstreet Boys, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Pedro Infante… you name it!

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

Travel to some of the most historical places in the world with my family. Taking my son to the Louvre, to the Great Pyramids of Giza, and to the Great Wall of China, are in my top 5.

What are you currently binge-watching or reading?

Well, I’m currently reading Misery by Stephen King, we all know the movie and it was simply amazing! Psychological thriller, a writer that falls in the hands of his self-proclaimed number one fan -not so fun.

THANK YOU ADY!
