Meet Chris Conley, a consultant who joined our US team back in 2022. He started out writing PDDs and has now grown into a Senior Consultant role within the Process Excellence and Mining team.
What is your role at Roboyo and what do you enjoy most?
Today I am a Senior PEX (Process Excellence) Consultant. My role is to work on getting small, medium, or large manufacturers to get to their next level in different ways. It can be from reducing production costs to re-thinking the overall sales and business strategy. If I had to think about what I enjoy the most, it is without a doubt LEAN management for production.

What do you like most about our culture?
What I appreciate most is the diversity of our team. It doesn’t matter if I’m on a call with someone from Colorado, Germany, or Spain, with everyone it feels like there is a great symbiosis. That sense of unity is what I find most incredible about our culture.
What would you like people to hear about your work that they may not know?
As our practice continues to grow, I am deeply involved in various aspects of process excellence. For approximately three weeks of the month that I am onsite with our clients, I actively participate and contribute to daily production meetings, staffing strategies, Green Belt projects, Kaizen events, as well as attend daily and weekly operational meetings with leadership. I think my role differs a bit from the automation projects we are more widely known for, but it lays a solid foundation for future automation efforts.

How do you see your role contributing to the overall mission and objectives of Roboyo?
I see my role as pivotal in spearheading the development of a new value chain for Roboyo, especially in the Americas region. This initiative holds great promise for profitability in the coming years. It also aligns closely with our overall goals of driving digital transformation and embracing the AI (artificial intelligence) era. By focusing on this aspect, I believe I can make a substantial contribution to Roboyo’s mission and goals, helping to propel the company into the future.

If you had three wishes, what would they be?
1. Be a scratch golfer ⛳

If you could become an expert in any skill or subject, what would it be?
I would love to be an expert in law ⚖
If you could remove one thing from your daily routine, what would it be?
I would say coffee ☕
