Let us introduce you to Akshay Yadav, our talented Manager of Intelligent Automation Engineering, and one of the trailblazers of Roboyo India. Akshay will be joining the rest of the Roboyo crew at Barcelona’s All Eyes on Automation next month and we could not be more excited to see him.  

What is your favorite part of working at Roboyo?  

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I enjoy working at Roboyo for several reasons. Firstly, I find the company culture to be collaborative, inclusive, and supportive. The company values are diverse, and this is reflected in its hiring practices, as well as in how employees are treated. I appreciate the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals who share similar values and are passionate about their work. 

Secondly, I am constantly challenged and given the opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge through various training and development programs. The company encourages its employees to take ownership of their work, providing the necessary resources and tools to excel in their roles. 

Lastly, I am proud to be part of a company that is making a positive impact in the industry through its innovative products, services, and sustainable business practices. Knowing that the work I do contributes to the company’s success and helps to make the world a better place is truly fulfilling.

​​​​​​What are you most proud of in your career so far? 

I am proud of the strong relationships that I have built with my team members and stakeholders. Collaboration and communication are essential elements in software development, and I am grateful for the trust that my colleagues have in me to lead projects and deliver results. 

What is the most interesting project you’ve worked on at Roboyo? 

 Adidas!  

What do you enjoy most about working at Roboyo?

A positive work environment, opportunities for growth and development, supportive colleagues and managers, interesting and challenging work, a good work-life balance, and a sense of purpose and fulfillment from my current job role.

What do you think makes Roboyo’s team culture unique?

Recognition and appreciation: We very much appreciate and recognize the contributions and achievements of each other which in turn creates a positive and motivating work environment. 

If I had three wishes, they would be:

1. World Peace: My first wish would be to create a world where there is no violence, conflict, or war. I would wish for a world where everyone can live in harmony and mutual respect, fostering compassion and understanding among all individuals. 

2. Endless Knowledge: My second wish would be to have unlimited knowledge and wisdom. I would like to have the ability to understand complex concepts effortlessly, explore the universe’s mysteries, and contribute to the advancement of science and knowledge for the betterment of humanity. 

3. Environmental Sustainability: My third wish would be to ensure the protection and preservation of the planet. I would wish for the restoration of damaged ecosystems, sustainable and clean energy sources, and an end to pollution and climate change. This wish aims to create a world where future generations can enjoy a healthy and thriving environment. 

What’s the last song you listened to? 

Ah, music! The last song recently I listened to again, was “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake. 

What’s one thing on your bucket list? 

One thing on my bucket list is to travel to all 7 continents in the world. 

If you had to pick a fictional world to live in from any movie, tv show or book which would you pick? Why? 

If I had to choose a fictional world to live in, I would pick the world of Harry Potter. I would love to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, learn magic, and be a part of the enchanting universe created by J.K. Rowling. 

In which house would you like to be in then? 

Ravenclaw – Known for intelligence, wisdom, and a love for knowledge. I am curious, love learning, and prefer intellectual pursuits.
