Navigating the hyperautomation maturity model for organizational excellence

A hyperautomation maturity model is a framework designed to assess and measure an organization’s level of maturity in adopting and implementing hyperautomation practices.

With aspects of design thinking together with focused interviews, we’re able to objectively assess an organization’s maturity curve.

Our global study, collecting maturity assessment data, revealed some fascinating insights. Take, for instance, the areas of risk and controls – regardless of industry type, organizations seem to lack overall maturity in their current state. Shifting our focus to optimization approaches, we discovered that manufacturing industries have a huge gap to fill. However, despite this gap, vision and strategy are rather well defined. Another example lies in the technology and data sphere, where pharmaceutical industries lean heavily on one main technology (RPA) and follow a single vendor strategy. Surprisingly, our findings indicate that the overall hyperautomation maturity is extremely low, even if other technologies like Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Conversational AI and Process Mining exist, albeit in small pockets of negligible importance.
