From the start, Roboyo has been the main partner of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in their automation journey. In this project, we helped them to actively retrieve and monitor quality ratings from their automotive customers to define necessary actions on time and improve their operational services globally, as well ensure readiness for audits.
Our client: Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST), as a leading supplier of advanced materials for customers working on automotive, industrial and alternate drivetrain applications and as a leader of their market in sealing applications, has the mindset to accelerate and optimize their internal processes globally by automation technologies.

To meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, FST must track scorecards provided by their customers. Downloading these scorecards was carried out manually by multiple departments across all FST sites, causing a huge amount of labour-intensive effort.
Once the information was received, handling and distributing it to the appropriate FST stakeholders was also time-consuming and inefficient.
The response was to use bots to download the original scorecards automatically in the background and process the data without any manual input. This ensures that FST always has the latest data, is aware of possible deviations and can react, if needed, in a timely manner. The many hours of saved time can then be used for value-adding tasks.
The bots also help in storing the data centrally and providing proactive notifications to multiple user groups needing access to the information.
The automation solution reduces manual workload drastically, with more than 150 individual scorecards from the selected customer groups reviewed on a daily to monthly interval.
It also provides structured data for analysis and action-setting purposes to different user groups and management levels.
