Former Chief Finance Officer | GSA

Gerard Badorrek is former Chief Financial Officer and the Performance Improvement Officer of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).   A transformation expert, Gerard has 25 years of experience with technology and service companies in the private sector and held COO and CFO roles before coming to GSA.  He also served as the executive sponsor and chair of the federal RPA Community of Practice and was the governmentwide leader for the cross-agency priority goal of shifting from low- to high-value work through automation, process optimization, and burden reduction.  He received the 2021 Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service and was named a FED 100 technology leader.

Jim Walker works across all levels of government to help show the tremendous value that automation brings to government agencies and educational institutions. Prior to Roboyo, Jim served as CTO and Evangelist for Public Sector at UiPath preceded by 32 years of leadership experience in government (NASA, MDA, DISA, and as an Army Major), where he led NASA’s “first in government” deployment of “Washington bot” and lead the technical team in the design, and development of the Bureau of Fiscal Services first bots at Treasury.

He also serves as a founding board member for the RPA Initiative at the George Mason University – Schar School of Policy and Government as well as a board member with the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center (ATARC).
